I am at the base of the Halfdome trail. This area is where the rockslide ended up in 1996. Later flooding hit the area too, so this bridge may well not exist anymore.

Mt Dana is a short, but hard hike from Tioga Pass. It is the second tallest peak in Yosemite Park, at just over 13,000. Below is Mono Lake.

Tom shows very good balance here, taking picture of his feet just a few inches away from a 5,000 ft drop off Halfdome.

This is one big icicle! This was taken a few hours before we managed to get ourselves stuck up on El Capitan overnight on a brisk February night.

Fall 1998 - Vickie, Dave, and I go to experience a variety of weather at Ansel Adams Wilderness and Yosemite.
